Chelsea Town House
Having spent months looking, the client fell in love with this beautiful Chelsea property. In desperate need of modernisation, they invited us in to help. Having worked with this particular client before, we knew that the home needed to be sophisticated yet comfortable and practical. We set about redesigning the internal configuration of the house to include a grand master suite with an interlinked dressing room to the first floor, allowing for a home office, two further guest bedrooms and an artist studio to the top floor. The ground floor made way for both a formal and an informal reception room, cloakroom and custom-made bar – great for entertaining – leaving the kitchen and dining room on the lower ground floor. The client was keen to create a feeling of ‘bespoke furniture’ in the kitchen and so we carefully designed the units, incorporating specialist finishes, antique brass and bronze details and beautiful woods which our joiners then executed exquisitely. Beautiful stones and marbles were used throughout the bathrooms and cloakrooms, creating luxurious and relaxing spaces. Attention was given to intricate details and custom-made joinery.
