Country Retreat

Working on a project outside of London is always a pleasure when the property is as beautiful as this one. Looking for a weekend retreat, our lovely client settled on a semi-rural pocket of Wiltshire and found this delightful country home. Wanting a place the family could spend quality time together, we set about remodelling the ground floor, to include, amongst others, a formal dining room, sitting room, large kitchen and cinema room. The client had a fantastic collection of artwork which dictated our use of warm, soft colours throughout married together with pops of colour in our design aesthetic. Recliners for the cinema room were ordered in from Italy and the Larson fabric to the Roman blinds helped to keep the room cosy and inviting, perfect for a Saturday night movie. The bedrooms were personal to the children and the client, with stunning, embroidered Colefax & Fowler bedspreads adorning the beds to the master suite and guests bedrooms. By amalgamating two of the smaller bedrooms, we created a beautiful bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom for one of the children. Having worked with the client for many years, we knew that attention to detail was paramount and were so thrilled to help her create yet another beautiful home.
